Moodify

Moodify is a Mood based AI Playlist Generator. The concept of this Mood based AI Playlist Generator is a music streaming platform that personalizes playlists in real-time based on your emotional state. Using biometric data such as facial expressions, heart rate, and body movements, it dynamically adjusts music recommendations to match or enhance your current mood.

Research

Before initiating the design process, I conducted extensive research and developed a detailed pitch for my concept: an AI-powered playlist generator. Key slides from the pitch, displayed to the right, highlight critical insights and findings that shaped the project. My initial milestones included researching AI algorithms and understanding how these systems could be implemented in real-world applications.

I progressed to creating wireframes, which were then transformed into a functional prototype. This prototype was developed using Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and Photoshop to ensure polished and cohesive final designs. The target audience for this project included music enthusiasts, mental health advocates, and wellness-focused individuals.

Wireframing

I meticulously designed detailed wireframes using Figma and Adobe Illustrator to establish the structure and functionality of the prototype.  These wireframes served as a critical foundation for crafting intuitive and user-friendly designs, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to final product.  Additionally, they allowed for early testing and refinement to align with user expectations and project goals.

Prototyping

Finally, I leveraged Figma’s advanced prototyping features to seamlessly integrate all wireframes, resulting in an interaction and fully functional prototype.  This allowed for a realistic user experience and efficient testing of the design’s functionality.  Click the button below to explore the prototype in detail.
